Final Home Game – Region 7 Championships

This weekend saw the Music Boosters and the Marching Tigers busier than ever as Marching Band Season enters its final phase.

Friday was the final Home Game of the Season. The opposing team’s marching band performed their show before the game started, and our band cheered them on with great spirit.

Perth Amboy returned the favor at halftime, watching the Tigers perform “Neon” under the Friday Night Lights. And what else was happening at that time? Non-stop Oreo Frying! We couldn’t keep them in stock!

Perfect treat for a chilly evening!

Saturday saw a chily start with practice at Jost Field all day, augmented with breakfast and lunch provided by the Music Boosters. Not for nothing are the Marching Tigers the best fed band in NJ!

Sunday dawned beautifully and the Boosters were back at it – feeding the band breakfast before they got on their buses for Region 7 Championships held at Toms River High School North.

Group 2-O in Region 7 had some stiff competition! But the Marching Tigers rose to the occasion, even when the wind decided to play with two of the sails on the field! Bravo, Marching Tigers, for not letting that interfere with the tremendous effort you put forth! And great hustling by the Volunteers for the speedy entrances and exits on the field, as well!

When it came down to the scores, the Marching Tigers achieved a Season High Score of 90.2 and a Second Place Finish, with the Special Award for High Auxiliary. Congratulations are in order for such a spectacular score!

Only 2 Competitions Left to Cheer on the Marching Tigers – Sunday, November 1 at Barnegat High School – The Tigers Take the Field at 11:30 AM – and at the ACC Competition at Hershey Park, PA on November 7, 2026.

We’ll See You There!
