Competitions, Games, and Oreos, Oh My!

Another busy weekend for the Music Boosters and the Marching Tigers!

Friday Night Lights bring out the hungry crowds for our world famous Fried Oreos. Music Boosters were on hand to ensure that tasty treats are ready for the masses, and a steady stream of customers walked away happy, and our fundraising box was equally pleased.

The band played well in the stands and on the field, adding spirit to the stands and to the atmosphere.

Saturday allowed the band and the Boosters to sleep in, a little, before starting practice prior to the competition at JFK Memorial High School in Iselin.

After hours of rehearsal, the band was most appreciative of the Boosters’ Take on the Chipotle “Make Your Own Bowl” Model. Rice, Beans, Chicken, Beef, Pork, Chips, Cheese, and Sweet Treats were all on hand. And don’t forget the Brisk Iced Tea.

Onward to Iselin and a gorgeous night for a band competition. After two weeks without a competition, it was great to see the Marching Tigers take the field with their show, “Neon” ! Boosters were also on hand to bring on the Pit instruments and the stages for our musician soloists.

Another impressive showing, with a jump in score to 86.20! Way to Go, Marching Tigers!

Onward and Upward to the Next Competition – Saturday, October 17 at Sayreville War Memorial High School. Get more information here.
