We’re almost at the end of the Marching Band Season, and it has been a truly wonderful one for our SPHS Marching Tigers.
After achieving second place at the TOB Region Competition, the band has been practicing tremendously to get ready for the States. Friday saw the band taking to Jost Field to perfect their already award-winning show and the Boosters were on hand to load the truck.
Saturday the 26th saw another round of practicing (and feeding the band!) at Jost Field before heading to Toms River for the States Competition!
There were 15 total bands in the 2-A Category, with South Plainfield performing last. The talent in the whole category is tremendous!
After performing, it wasn’t too long to wait until the scores. All the drum majors for every competing band lined up and waited for their fate.
Congratulations to the Marching Tigers on their first ever TOB States Win!
