SPHS Musicians Auditioned & Accepted into Regional Ensembles
At the CJMEA (Central Jersey) All-Region Band Auditions last month, our SPHS Music Department proudly boasts that FIVE of our musicians represented our community and auditioned this year!
The Sibling Dream Team Do It Again
Congratulations to SPHS sophomore Molly Van Wyk and senior Cameron Van Wyk on their identical achievement and shared experience of auditioning for acceptance into NJ’s ALL STATE ensembles and being selected for not one but TWO of those ensembles … and as siblings!
SPHS Marching Tigers at the Atlantic Coast Championships
The Tournament of Bands (TOB) Atlantic Coast Championship was held on November 1 and 2 at the Hershey Stadium in Hershey, PA. The TOB 2-Open class competition was held on Sunday evening with 10 bands from New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West VIrginia, and Delaware.
Marching Tigers Celebrate Senior Night and Regional Competition Success
On Thursday, October 16 before the SPHS football game, the seniors were honored as they received their pins and walked with their families across the field. After the first half, they performed their amazing show “Ate” for the excited crowd.
