The SPHS Music Boosters were on hand at the June 2, 2026 South Plainfield High School Scholarship Night to award several scholarships to graduating seniors. After completing an application and submitting an essay, the Music Booster Scholarship Committee awarded the following scholarships:
The Daniel A. Spisso Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Sophia Miller. This award was created in memory of the composer to the SPHS Alma Mater, “Hail to Thee,” and the recipient must demonstrate exceptional leadership or service within the Music Department.
The Fulvio C. D’Allessio Award was awarded to Jaliyah James. Created in memory of Fulvio C. D’Allessio for his efforts in reorganizing the SPHS Drill Team, the recipient of this scholarship must be a worthy student who exemplifies the traditions and standards set forth by the SPHS Color Guard.
Four Music Booster Scholarships were granted to Anthony Butrico, Zachary Orelien, Tatiana Rowlands, and Cameron Van Wyk.
